“I was looking for a good independent instructor when I found Jack on the internet. His resume is great, so I decided to take a couple of trial lessons. Four years later, I’m still going. From the start, Jack took time to get to know my current skills and musical interests – and structure lessons accordingly. He’s an excellent instructor, but what’s most impressive is his ability to listen to a song and identify the rhythm, chords, and melody line. He can pick up a pen and write out a song as easily as most of us would write a letter. And now I have a nice little custom-made anthology of my favorite songs. Years ago, I signed on for lessons at a large music store. The instructor could play, but she couldn’t teach. I got frustrated and quit.
