“Typical NJ Turnpike rest area and always clean and well maintained. Also typical is that they are not dog friendly- which makes sense with the amount of people that use it. There are places to walk your dog but there are also signs to inform travelers of the state law against idling your engine. I leave the heat or A/C on in the car when I run in for a coffee or food while my dog waits in the car. If I can't bring in my dog, I will idle my car.”
