(December 11, 2018, 9:32 am)Took my cat, Henri, late at night because he was demonstrating extreme pain of some kind. The staff was exceptionally attentive and kind. Within a matter of minutes the Dr. examined him and got xrays showing Henri indeed had a bladder blockage--just as the Dr. suspected. I was impressed with how thorough and simply the Dr. explained the options and the best way to proceed for the moment. Henri was admitted right away and I was welcomed to call anytime, 24/7, to inquire on Henri's progress and each time I did in the next 3 days, each and every employee--Dr. or Tech--were kind, courteous and professional. Thoroughly explaining each time what Henri's progress was. I've been a pet owner of one kind or another for decades. I have not ever found a Vet's where everyone, without exception, was so professional and kind from the front door to the back. Good to know of an ER that is so great! Thanks so much for taking such good care of my boy!
(December 7, 2018, 4:31 pm)Had a small emergency where my dog ingested a couple chicken bones. The staff was very frienedly and quick at assisting us. I was very surprised at how quick and simple it was to get seen considering it was late at night. They advertise 24 hours but I though for sure the staff would be limited and passive at best but that’s not the case at all. Well equipped and pleasant even in the late hours of the night. Would highly recommend!
(September 28, 2018, 11:03 pm)Our dog, who has a brain tumor (for the past year) had an emergent situation at 6am the other day. There wasn't any vet hospital near us open, until 8am. So we took the ride to this Vet Hospital. It wasn't a bad ride at all. The staff was wonderful. The vet we saw was wonderful. They gave us some medicine that will hopefully help our dog. The price was shockingly LOW!! We are thinking about using them as our regular vet, we liked them so much!
(September 3, 2018, 12:22 pm)I loved this place. My cat was very sick and they warned us on the phone that it might be a wait because they were busy, but we got there and they took us right in. My cat had a very high temperature and was not feeling well at all but he purred through the entire exam because the nurses and Dr. Renee made him feel so comfortable. The walk in fee and medical costs for everything (including medications) was the SAME price as just the walk in fee and exam at the other hospitals. Dr. Renee had such a positive energy to her that I would gladly drive an hour every time my animals need something. I would recommend this place to anyone!! I love it.
(August 10, 2018, 4:12 pm)I'm not one that normally provides reviews; however, I was so happy with my service today that I really wanted to express my opinion. I am an owner of 3 dogs (2 are mastiffs). Yes, I like the dogs with wrinkles in their faces as well as large dogs which automatically results in significant veterinary care. We have our regular vet at home, b/c of their needs we have specialists at U of Penn, and now we will be using Ocean View Veterinary for our trips down the shore.
The office staff was kind and helpful. We were greeted with a smile and exchanged pleasantries. I loved the doctor and the veterinary assistant equally as much. The exam was thorough. They were concerned and proactive. The prices were EXTREMELY reasonable. In fact, based on the number of medications that my bull dog received today, I expected the bill to be MUCH higher. I immediately called my vet at home and shared my review with them, too. Thank you Ocean View!
