(December 21, 2018, 12:32 am)The Home Depot has the right name. It's the right place to go for so many things for the home. It's the place where serious customers go who have real needs.
You'll find contractors buying their materials there. You'll find the DIY'ers who want to do repairs, or make improvements and make their home a nicer place to live.
It is not mistaken for a department store, like that other place. Home Depot doesn't need to look pretty. They just need to have the goods, and they do.
Now, if you're a customer who doesn't have all the answers on how to do something, or what the best product is to accomplish your task, Home Depot has the answers.
The location I give to, on Indian Trail Road in Burleigh, or CMCH, NJ, has really good people there. I went once for a cleaner I had researched for my electronics, and at Home Depot I saw that there were a few different types of that cleaner. Which one should I get? A Home Depot employee walked by, an older man, and asked if I needed some help. I figured he'll never know, but I told him what I needed to do. He did know the right can, and he handed it to me. Turns out he used to be a TV repairman for years. He knew electronics. Later, when I did a little more research before I used it, I found that he steered me right!
That's just one example. I have had a woman cashier, over by lumber, give me the perfect solution for buying a metal sheet I needed to cut. She saw what I was about to buy. She suggested a sheet I had not seen, that was cheaper and that I could cut easier. It worked perfectly.
When one employee couldn't help me, he got on his phone. A manager came over and, once again, he had a solution for we hat I needed.
Never underestimate anyone working at Home Depot. They hire knowledgeable people, and they can give you the help you need.
If you already know what you need, great. You can get in and out of there in minutes. I often stop in and I'm in and out of there in minutes with the product that will work and let me get it done.
(December 4, 2018, 11:29 am)Aside from practically being in there almost as much as I use to work, the location is prime - easy to spot and park.
They offer less than Lowe's in the decor section, but do offer great convenience in CoHo for all building/repair needs. Staff have been courteous, and for the most part easy to help you, and service desk has been great for our returns and special orders. .

(September 17, 2018, 10:28 am)The prices are fair, the service (when you can find someone)is good, but the selection is very shallow. These factors got it three stars. The forth star came from their excellent customer service desk. They took care of ever return and issue with ease.
