(August 24, 2018, 6:50 pm)I have been staying here every year for 10+ years. We have taken our 9 yo grand daughter to many places. But when her teacher asked her to write a paper on her favorite place in the world she wrote her paper about the acropolis. The hotel itself is not one of those 5 star resorts with perfect everything...but it is an amazing hotel in a perfect location. Kid friendly...great pool...and extra close to the beach. It's a short beach so you are close to the water. Restaurant, bar, and everything you need. You literally don't have to go anywhere else the whole vacation. Far enough away from the boardwalk to avoid it when you need to with the kids. Good railings in the rooms to protect the kids....and fencing around the pool for the kids as well. Hope this helps everyone. There's a lot of reviews on here that are negative because they saw a broken piece of molding, an area of missing paint, or something like that. In the real world this is a great hotel to spend some quality relax time by the ocean. Even if you have kids with you! Don't hesitate coming to the acropolis, it's the vacation we all need.
