Customer service was courteous and answered all questions. They also cleared a system glitch when my order was placed twice. The part was delivered on time and in good shape. My mechanic said it was a very good muffler and impressed with stainless at a great price. Installed easily. Thank you Delores, and entire crew at UPSW Auto Parts!
(August 27, 2020, 11:41 am)I usually don’t give perfect reviews, but here we have a ton of bad reviews, and my experience was a different one entirely.
First off: sitting was a little slow, and after a couple of emails and talking to someone in person, I had discovered that one of the parts was on back order. And shipping is also slow right now with all of this Covid nonsense.
When I received the package it looked somewhat small. After opening it up I realized it was all exactly what I seen on the site. It was night time when they delivered so I pulled it out of the box and laid it out next to the truck. Definitely certain this was the correct exhaust.
It included everything except the bolts for the flanges, which was OK because I have a tendency to put stainless bolts in to prevent corrosion. Everything bolted up perfectly, all the hangers were perfectly aligned. I had absolutely no issues whatsoever installing the product.
. That being said I am a proficient mechanic since I was a young boy. I have read some of your reviews, and seriously think that some of you need to have this professionally installed. If everyone was to get the correct item like I did, you shouldn’t have no problems . I also possess a welder, which instead of the standard muffler clamp I welded it together.
(March 15, 2020, 9:10 am)After being quoted $900 to replace my cat back exhaust from a major Nationwide Chain store, I purchased a stainless steel cat back exhaust from UPSW, paid a local garage to install it and saved over $500.00 total. Took about a week for delivery which is fine, only reason I didn't give 5 stars is I was not given shipping updates or a tracking number and even when I checked my account on their website I still couldn't tell what to expect. I called customer service, my call was answered quickly, the rep was helpful and told me it was going out that night and to expect it in two days. Sure enough, two days later it arrived. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. My mechanic said everything fit perfectly and he was impressed with the low price I paid.
