We have bought violin with Mr. Jiang since 1/2 size. So many selections and best sound quality among all the violin shops we tried.

I had the pleasure of hearing several of Mr. Jiang's Guarneri Leduc model violins. The tone of each was dark, rich and exquisite. His prices were fair and Mr. Jiang himself was extremely professional, patient and easy to converse with.

Shan Jiang is one of the best violin makers working today. He made a viola for me in 2010 which I now use for all my work.

I first became of aware of Shan Jiangs violin making prowess as a member of NYCB orchestra. A colleague had one of his instruments that I liked very much. Subsequently , I ordered one and have been very happy with its sound , workmanship , and highest quality ! I highly recommend stopping by his shop in the building on 54th st with all the various fiddle makers , his suite is number 604 ! Paul Peabody
