Stumpy's Hatchet House Fairfield - Axe Throwing

First time there did not what to expect. Really enjoyed axe throwing.. you could bring your own drinks.. and dinner.. take turns at hitting the bulls eye which is a big piece of wood... Not so easy getting it in the middle

We had a party of 6 at Stumpy's on a Saturday night for my father in laws birthday. This was all of our first time there or throwing hatchets in general. We were able to reserve our own throwing booth for 2 hours. The booths were very socially distanced even though it was crowded which is awesome. Each booth had couches and a TV with sports on. It is bring your own booze and food or you could have food delivered. Definitely an awesome experience and a very cool place to hang out with friends, for a party, or work function. We will 100% be back.

We went there for my birthday. There were nine of us. We had a fantastic time!!! The staff there are great! They gave us instructions on how to throw and continuously checked on our progress. Staff member Brandon gave us our initial instructions. He brought me a surprise to take home for my birthday. ( I won't say what it was, so as not to ruin the surprise for other potential customers) All of the staff were very friendly. There are other activities to do while you wait to throw. No one was bored in our group. I would recommend Stumpy's to everyone. Can't wait to go back again!! Thank you again for a fun and exciting time!

Awesome fun!! 5 star experience!! First time ever axe-throwing for the four members of our group. We were celebrating a birthday-- why not throw axes?!! I would recommend getting there a little early to fill out the waiver and get checked-in. Super friendly staff, walked us through a brief intro and axe throwing lesson. Once we got past the initial hesitation you experience before you throw an axe for the first time, our entire group had a blast. Great setup, each group had it's own little semi-private area. BYOB, they had ice buckets ready and available! Brandon and others came over a couple times with throwing tips for one person in our group who was struggling a bit early, and managed to get him dialed in on target for the rest of the session. We'll definitely be back and definitely book a two hour session next time. Thanks to all at Stumpy's for a great time!

I cannot thank Shane, Stephanie, and the rest of the staff at Stumpy’s for their part in making my husbands 34th birthday an evening we will remember and cherish forever. We had a larger group (over 20) and Shane helped so much ensuring that we had the large back area with adjacent pits. Their staff went above and beyond to make sure our motley crew was taken care of, regularly checking in with us to make sure we were having fun and offering advice on throwing techniques and the like. This was actually the second time we had a birthday party there, the first time was for my mother-in-law a month earlier and the staff was just as helpful and attentive as they were last night. I only wish we could have had more time. Thank you all again for an amazing evening! I highly recommend this place!
