(July 12, 2020, 7:39 pm)My chain kept slipping on my son’s bike and the guys at Maplewood Bike shed were so accommodating. Had me bring in the bike the next day (even though their schedule was full), worked on it super quickly and had it back to me that same day. All for a super reasonable price!! I will definitely be back with any future bike needs!
(July 9, 2020, 2:34 pm)You won't find any bike culture snobbery here; just friendly and super helpful people who clearly love bikes! Reasonable prices and they have a all the essentials. If you don't see what you need, they will order it for you. I got great cork handles on special order. Excellent shop and I recommend it to all my friends in the area.
(July 3, 2020, 5:45 pm)It is fantastic to have this new bike shop in the area. There has been loss of bike stores in recent years, great to have somebody nearby. They did an excellent job tuning up 2 of our bikes and fixing a bent wheel. Friendly service, feels like a real neighborhood place not a chain store. Will definitely be going back!
(June 22, 2020, 9:05 pm)I was originally looking for a bike shop that wasn’t backed up due to COVID. I called this bike shop and they weren’t as back up as the others. When i dropped off my bike, they were super kind, not just one person but all of them. I told them that I wasn’t here during the weekend and would be okay with leaving it, but they insisted on trying to get my bike to me on the same day. This wasn’t the only nice thing they did, but they also called me with the problem with my bike. They told me that they would need a specific part, and if I had it, the price would be much better. Luckily I had the part and was able to get a great discount. At the end of the day, they are there to help you fix your bike, not to charge you to do some tune ups that you didn’t even need. Normally I don’t get or do things based off reviews but, this is just an all around great bike shop for any kind of bike, and I mean ANY BIKE. Over all this place is the best and I strongly recommend it.
(June 16, 2020, 4:07 pm)During Covid-19 they were able to take care of me the same day. Another place wanted to give me an appointment in a month! These guys are great, have a great attitude and know their craft. They will have good karma.
