Great staff
After seeing flashes/floaters and being told nothing was wrong by my optometrist, I decided to visit Dr. Doshi for a second opinion. To make a long story short, he found a very small, recent retinal tear in my right eye and performed a surgery that day. I can't thank him enough for helping me, and the office is very modern with some of the best equipment I've seen. I'd highly recommend this office/Dr. Doshi
I had a detached and torn retina several years ago. It was fixed, but there were problems with swelling, etc. I saw several retina doctors over the years, amounting to perhaps 50 visits, including Weil Cornell in NYC. I am incredibly grateful for the recommendation to see Dr. Doshi. He is more compassionate, competent and professional than any other retina doctor I visited. He advised me that a second retina surgery would solve my problem, but didn't pressure me to do it. I finally agreed after other temporary treatments and the surgery went great. I now have 20/20 vision (with glasses) in comparison to times previously that I had no vision in one eye. Visiting doctor after doctor, I felt that they had little concern about me as a person or a patient. A few experiences were literally nightmarish. Dr Doshi was the exact opposite. A wonderful doctor and human being. Additionally, his office had the most modern equipment and the best staff. The entire operation is excellent.
One note of information: When visiting retina doctors, you can plan on being there for an hour or two and perhaps longer. I saw an unreasonable review complaining that someone waited too long to see Dr Doshi and gave him one star. Unjustifiable. The wait and visit was no different than the other many retina offices I've visited.
Dr. Doshi is a godsend. He does amazing work and is a consummate professional. Special thanks must be given to Evelyn. She is empathetic, kind, and caring. She consoled me through a very difficult time and procedure and for that I will always hold her in the highest regard. Thank you!!
Fantastic talented Doctor! Staff incredibly kind and considerate. Office is beautiful and filled with modern equipment. The place is packed but they keep you moving. We are blessed to have this available to us. Thanks to everyone!
