(August 24, 2020, 12:04 pm)My experience was amazing at Cocina Candela. We made reservations online which was super convenient. We were given bread with a delicious herb-garlic butter compote that was devine. We started with the sorullos de maíz stuffed with cheese and the bacalaitos. Plated beautifully and tasted even better. My wife had the shrimp mofongo and I had the Arroz con gandules with pernil. The rice had the smoked ham just like my mom does it. Every bite brought me home. I’m a Jersey native, but Morovis Puerto Rico runs through my veins. Muchas bendiciones Candela. Tienes un pedazo de Borinquen pa’ lo que están ausentes como yo. ???????

(January 18, 2020, 11:24 pm)Warm, welcoming atmosphere. We had 3 appetizers and shared a dinner, and desert. Each dish we explored and tasted was flavorful and prepared to perfection. The homemade cheesecake came out beautifully plated. The flavor was equally delightful. We will return to experience different dishes.
