We could not have gotten through the settlement of the estate without invaluable guidance from NJ Elder Law. We dealt with Toni Brooks, who responded to phone calls and emails very quickly. She led me, as executrix, through the maze of documents and various required proofs unerringly. Her patience was admirable and she was such a confidence building influence.

The entire process was explained very well and highly organized from the conversations with Eric to the signing process with Jessica. Made me feel extremely confident in their counsel, while making it easy on me.

I suggested to my husband that we ask Eric Goldberg to write our wills and the rest of the estate documents that go along with that exercise. With the pandemic in play, our meetings via Zoom and telephone were effective.

Eric listened carefully and would ask a quietly probing question to clarify a point. Our second meeting was a review of the first draft of the documents. Lo and behold, the documents were clear and understandable. Having listened to our comments, Eric again would ask a question for clarification, and in addition made suggestions that addressed potential problems we had not thought of. To sum up, we received clarity of thought, careful construction, understandable language, and a sympathetic and human partner. And he laughed at my husband’s jokes.

In addition, we thank Clelia, Jessica, and Amy for their support during the entire process. They returned phone calls quickly, answered questions, and kept us in the know during a very quick turn-a-round from start to finish. Our experience can only be described as EXCELLENT!
