“Has a lot to offer but needs a lot of time. I have been here a couple of times, first time was to buy myself a reasonable jeans and it was there. I spend nearly an hour and found 1 jeans Next was to buy baby shower gifts. This time was more than 1:30 hours and yes I did find clothes for new babies but limited. Now it was for coats and this time I spent nearly 3 hours trying all the coats and cardigan coats! I finally found some good picks for myself in small size and it was decent for my cousin tooo !!! The staff here is decently friendly at times but mostly you gotta resolve most of the size issues by yourself . They have a lot of brands from Tahari, Jessica Simpson , Michael kors, guess and a lot more”

“The kids enjoyed their pumpkin picking experience. There wasn’t too many things to do but they enjoyed themselves. There were slides , hayrides, pumpkin slingshot, animal feeding and over course many pumpkins to choose from. The prices of everything were reasonable and all the staff members were friendly as well. We’ll come back next year.”

“This hardware store was one of the first places in town that I visited when I moved to town a year or so ago. I had a lot of little repairs and home improvements to do, so I knew I needed a place close by to rely upon. I made it my business to meet and introduce myself to the owner (Jerry) who in turn introduced me to another staff member. They welcomed me warmly to the town and the store and have been as welcoming every time that I’ve been in the store (which is probably dozens of times by now), even when it’s busy and chaotic. As an African-American male, who was moving to a town known to have some conservative views, I made it my business when I moved to this town to get out and to meet and introduce myself to people, especially local business owners. I know all too well after 50 years what it’s like to be followed around stores (regardless of the community’s political views) as if I’ve hired a personal bodyguard upon entry. I also have a teenage son who himself worries about how he’s perceived when he’s out and about (since he doesn’t wear his 4.2 HS GPA on his forehead). So I wanted to be sure when we moved to town that everyone knew that we were here and that we were going to support their businesses and I can say, without reservation, that Major Hardware has become one of my favorite businesses to patronize. I’m welcomed and superserved when I visit (not in the bodyguard sense). They always try to help me to figure out the best solution to a project or problem. In fact, Jerry the owner has even offered to come to my home after closing and give me advice about how to tackle a project!! This is why we support small businesses. It has always been worth it to me to pay a little more to make sure that these businesses survive and thrive.”

I can attest to arriving there 5 minutes before closing but Anthony still took the time to sit with me and show me what he had to offer with respect to my kitchen needs and then again with a window a needed for a bathroom remodel. Eventhough his prices and selections were reasonable I was unable to do business with him because of my time constraints (I needed the items in less than 5 days for a weekend project). I am now in need of some windows and I have a little bit more time lol so I will make sure to go to him. I will update this review once I complete the purchase and receive the windows.”

“I use Oboyle for lawn maintenance and not only do they do a great job all the time but the crews that arrive are friendly, professional and courteous with your property. We hired them to redesign and install all new landscape at the front of our house and they did a tremendous job. Oboyle had a ton of men out there. They did a great job and made it a point to schedule us and get the job done in time for our very important party. They are the best. I wouldn't consider working with any other company. “Thomas installed an Ecobee3 smart thermostat at my home. He arrived a little late than the scheduled time, but I did not care about that so much He introduced himself very professionally and immediately gave his business card with his credentials on it. He worked on this thermostat for over 1.5 hours, a job that should have lasted only about 30 minutes! My house is old and the wiring was not as clear as it should have been. Throughout this entire time, he was friendly and clean. The price he charged was reasonable. Be aware that he only took cash or check. A+ service and will definitely go back to them for future work.”

“My husband and I chose Calandra's for our wedding cake and I could not have asked for better! We worked with Aisha who was great. The tasting itself was delicious and I was very impressed with the customer service. We wanted to keep things simple for design but there was a large variety to choose from or you can always ask for what you want. According to our venue, the only cake left was the top for us to keep. Every single slice was taken by a guest. I don't know if you could ask for better!”
