“Best fried pickles I have ever had! Stopped in here today for some takeout on the way to Eight & Sand. I did not set high expectations because of the mixed reviews on Yelp, but Fat Louie's really impressed me. I ordered a mini meatball sandwich with provolone cheese, my boyfriend ordered the mini cutlet sandwich, and we split a small order of fried pickles. The meatball sandwich was amazing, his sandwich was good, and we both agreed that those fried pickles were the beat we have ever had. The pickles are cut thick with only a little breading that does not fall off. The dipping sauce was perfect. We may pick up another order on our way home! That's how good they were. We inquired about their pizza while we were there and we're advised to try the Buffalo chicken pizza, so we'll probably be back soon for that. And more fried pickles of course.”
