Highly recommend Debbie, she has been outstanding at helping with our breastfeeding journey, tongue and lip tie releases. The home visits are so convenient especially with a new baby. I felt the rates were great even without insurance coverage. I have gain so much knowledge and confidence breastfeeding. Thank you isn't enough!

Debbie is absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend to anyone struggling with breastfeeding for any reason. Debbie was quick to return my initial email and promptly called me. She was available next day for an in person visit and I was comfortable with her in my home as she was polite and respectful. Z She is knowledgable, kind and she listened to and thoroughly addressed all of my concerns. She was more in depth than I had expected and I learned so much during the visit. Debbie made suggestions for a pedi dentist and a chiropractor for my newborn. She also helped me with insurance paper work. Debbie has also checked in on me and my son every day since our in person visit which means the world to a struggling mama!

Debbie Chalk is absolutely amazing! I gave birth to my son September 9th and he was in the nicu for 4 days...the lactation consultants in the hospital were unable to help my son and I during our stay so I had to search for help when we got home. Debbie was recommended highly by several people to me in the LLL group i follow and she was able to set up an appointment immediately. We had two appointments with Debbie and many email chains back and forth. We discovered my son had very tense muscles in his mouth, neck and upper back preventing him from being able to latch. We got on a regimen to help relax those muscles and continue to promote latching...within a couple of weeks he latched and never looked back!!! Without her help I don't believe we would have been able to be successful in breast feeding and now I am exclusively breast feeding! I even had issues in the beginning related to pumping injuries on my nipples and Debbie was able to help me heal so that we could begin attempting to latch. I'm so grateful that I was able to find Debbie and I fully recommend her to anyone who is needing a lactation consultant or a post partum doula!

Debbie is the best! She came to my home and helped with some breastfeeding difficulties I was experiencing with my newborn. She is a fantastic listener and really took her time with us. Debbie's knowledge and expertise in all things babies is phenomenal. Highly recommend!

I will be forever grateful for the wisdom and care Debbie from NJ Family Roots gave me postpartum. She spent countless hours with me over several weeks working to breastfeed my baby. She is kind, gentle and never made me feel needy or silly for asking questions (of which I had MANY). We need more people like Debbie in this world.
