I would like to thank Barquin Funeral Home for a great job with us putting our mom to rest in style. Mario and his did a great job from the first time we met to the very last moment at the cemetery. Everyone was so patient and understanding- Betsy, Jay, Luis and others were perfect in every way. When we saw our mother it looked just like her with getting back 10 years of her life, just to see her st her best.

You know how to cater, kids room, kitchen and plenty of space for everyone, plus roofed parking. My entire family and friends were also very pleased with the service.

When it's a choice and family decisions are tough to make Barquin will easy the pain and assist with any matters to be handled.

We just buried my 95 year old mother who I cared for meticulously for many years. Just thinking of allowing her to be put in the hands of those who serve at a funeral home was scary and upsetting to me because I was very cautious and protective and careful with her health and her safety for many years. Mario and his staff bring to the table a sincerity, a deep compassion and love that is not easily found in this business. The time, patience, and availability made this process a beautiful experience making this our final farewell to Mom perfect in every way. Their attention to the detail that I wanted and her makeup and presentation, flowers, artistic prayer cards, etc. allowed every Creative Vision I had to come to pass. I didn't have to worry about anything. Every detail I asked for they made sure it was handled. There was no need to repeat it or have to keep a working list and stay after them. I said it once an they retained it. I am sure that anyone who came and participated in my mother's funeral would say they would be drawn to go to Barquin when dealing with the death of a loved one. The prices were more than fair... every aspect was just perfect not to mention their building is beautiful, new, clean and it's very peaceful to leave your loved one there knowing they're in the hands of people who have heart and care. After hearing some of Mario's own family stories and his love for the elderly and caring for his own, I knew his hands were the ones that I could place my Mom in.. an she would b safe an highly cared for. It has been almost a year since Mario took care of the funeral arrangements of my baby daughter Kamela. I can’t thank him enough for everything he did to take care of us and make this moment a little easier.
Mario is great, I really appreciate everything he did, I don’t know how he’s able to do this because it’s so hard to see your loved ones for one last time, but believe me when I say this. He is great.
