It feels like a privilege to be training under and learning from David. Classes are fantastic, people are awesome and legit.

I was visiting Hoboken for a week and had a competition coming up, the staff here welcomed me in and the training is fantastic! Super respectful students and instructors. I have to have my guard up when I visit any gym as a woman, but I felt totally safe here. Professional, technical, well run program here. Thanks David!

Was looking for a way to get active and meet some people since I'm new to the area. I've done some jiu jitsu before so this gym caught my eye. The free class is well worth it to get a feel since you are in an actual class and learning right away. Everyone there is incredibly nice and willing to teach or explain anything. No one is trying to hurt anyone or being overly aggressive. Would highly recommend coming to give it a shot and see if you like it.

I've only been in twice, but I signed up after my trial class. Professor Branch and the students were very kind and helpful. I also like that Branch emphasized that his teachings are for everyone, and whether your goal is to be a world champ or a skilled hobbyist — he'll get you there. Overall, everyone seems very supportive and cool. I'm really excited to continue my BJJ journey at this academy.

David Branch's status as a world class champion in the octagon transcends into his teaching/instructional ability at the academy. I have been fortunate to study martial arts in both civilian and military settings. David Branch, along with his other instructors, are at the top of their game. Professional, challenging, and extremely knowledgeable. The academy is a perfect setting for beginners and seasoned veterans alike. I would encourage anyone who has a curiosity or interest in starting BJJ or moving to a new studio to attend a free class at the academy.
