(March 3, 2019, 11:13 am)Great place for the kids to burn off some energy. There are climbing ropes, nets and a plethora of other things for them to do. There are a series of parks on the waterfront. It is great to walk or bike between them. The views of NYC are spectacular. There are also some pretty good restaurants both North and south of the park. It is really nice for the family.
(October 25, 2018, 11:03 pm)There is a great calisthenics Park section as well as a very well kept AstroTurf running track surrounding a soccer field. The field is usually used by local teams but there is plenty of space to exercise around.
Additionally there are tennis courts attached and you have a great view of the city while getting some exercise in the fresh air.
The running track and field is very well-lit though the calisthenics Park is a little dark. Nonetheless, it seems like a very safe area.
