One of the best temples in NJ! Recently opened and inaugurated, built with all-black stone imported from Tamil Nadu, India!!! The ambience was awesome and service great. A bit out of the way, but definitely worth visiting! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Great Temple to be visited for seeking periavva blessings.
In this Temple you will definitely get positive vibrations.
See the eyes of Ambal.
Sri Mahaperiyava Manimandapam is a delightful temple in Flemington, NJ. The architecture is very South Indian in nature, but customized for the hostile weather of North East United States. The temple is lovingly referred to as “Namba Periyava Kovil”, referring to its universal appeal far beyond its geographical location. The temple has been ordained by the current (70th) Pontiff of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, Sri Periyava.
The PRAKAARA MANDAPAM with the Sanctum Sanctorum with Garbha-Graham, Ardha Mandapam & Vimanam in Granite for Sri MahaPeriyava; a granite Sanctum Sanctorum for Sri Kamakshi Ambal; Sannadhi for Sri Vallabha Ganapathi, Sri Subramanya Swami, Sri Maha Meru & a Vasantha Mandapam for Utsavar deities.
Apparently 25 or so sculptors were commissioned to carve the intricate structures of this wonderful temple. It has an aura of peace and tranquility. Please visit with family and friends, and be blessed by the grace of Sri Mahaperiyava.
Really peaceful ! Divine and very very positive feeling .. thanks for all volunteers to work round the clock for this mammoth effort ! Periyavaaa charanam !
Mahaperiyava as He is fondly known as is a Hindu pontiff from southern India and this is a temple being built (still in construction phase) keeping His holiness as the main idol. This has come to fruition due to the strong belief and determination of several of His devotees.
You can still visit this place where they have kept His idol and few more idols of lord Ganesha and Goddess Kamakshi in the makeshift mandapam (hall that will be used for other religious services and weddings after the temple gets constructed). Parking space is humongous and can never be a problem.
I look forward to seeing this temple getting completed and see His divine form soon in the new sanctum Santorum.
