I love this place. I decided to go exploring and visit it a few weeks ago and I was excited to go back ever since. I enjoyed doing some school work inside the building, visiting the little book store inside that had quirky and interesting books on display to purchase, and just sitting outside in the shade at a little table in front of the High Bridge Public Library. Each experience was just as good as the last.The bathrooms are decent, the bag check is very quick, there's wife, plenty of space, and you can easily find somebody to assist you if you are trying to find a specific area in the library. I think my only issue with this place is the lack of outlets. I feel like there should be way more outlets considering how many people these days use their laptops and cell phones to do work. If it wasn't for that, I'd give this place 5 stars.
High Bridge Public Library first opened on September 15, 1914 in a small building belonging to Taylor-Wharton. In 1938 the library was moved into the municipal building and in 1964 it was moved to the rooms, still in the municipal building, where it is located today.
