“George is an excellent mechanic, and an honest, good hearted man. My father started taking his cars to him about 15 years ago. I followed suit shortly thereafter, as my father had told me countless stories over the years of how honest George was with his time, and could have easily charged more, yet didn’t. Needless to say, I always had that very same experience my father had. Seems like most other mechanics in the area charge the time it takes to diagnose a problem, sometimes on a car they are learning on for the first time, sometimes adding hours of add’l labor to a bill. He’s the only mechanic in Flemington we know who proved comfortable to work on our rusty old Honda, in addition to our overly complicated BMW....and doesn’t charge the prices one might expect from a mechanic with such a dynamic skill set. I asked George once why he felt the need to be so honest, comparing him to another local mechanic in town who will remain unnamed, but who repeatedly ripped us off prior to coming to George. He replied, in short, by saying he’d rather sleep at night. FYI- This is one of only two reviews I have ever written for ANY reason, if that is any testament to how great this guy is. A real gem.
