  As a trustee and board member for Hunters Helping the Hungry, I applaud the efforts of Megan Jones Holt and her staff at Market Pizza. Think about it for a minute...a small business owner and entrepreneur decides to move away from her business model and make fighting hunger a priority. Ms. Jones Holt then partners with a non profit such as HHH who with the hands on conservationists --the hunters of our great state--decides to cut into her costs, expenses, and profit for an entire weekend in an effort to raise funds to support the HHH program. Her goal: to be a part of an effort to ensure that not one person, family, or child has to think about where there next meal is coming from. HHH is closing in on providing 2 million venison meals to those not as fortunate as most in the state of NJ and with the help of passionate people like Megan Jones Holt... we WILL reach this goal!

  In response to Jean Public, Market Pizza is doing their annual fund raiser in concert with Hunters Helping the Hungry, who work with hunters through USDA approved butchers to provide high quality venison protein to families in need throughout the region. In 2017, Market Pizza's efforts raised enough funding to supply over 8000 meals to needy families. It should also be noted that in addition to this fund raising activity, Market Pizza also provides Vegan selections for clients who choose to live Vegan lifestyles, and also caters to Gluten Free clients who for health or lifestyle reasons seek out high quality healthy food. Every effort to feed those in need should be supported, and Hunters Helping the Hungry does an amazing job.

  Market Pizza is an amazing gem of a restaurant...not only because their pizzas are so creative and delicious, but because the owners truly believe in giving back to their community. The Hunters Helping the Hungry fundraiser is only one great example of their community spirit. Imagine that in one weekend, they can raise enough money to feed over 8,000 meals to New Jersey's neediest families. Come on out to Market Pizza Jan. 12-14, 2018 and give back to your community in a fun and positive way!
