I couldn't be happier with the results I got as a patient of Dr. Alina Lyons. I had problems with mild sleep apnea for several months. Due to this condition I was not feeling at my best. On my first visit I was impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of Dr. Lyons, she was very detailed and she explained things to me about sleep apnea that I didn't know before which made me feel happy and satisfied that she understood my situation. She was quick to explain what the expected outcome of my sleeping condition treatment was. After all, my oral appliance was designed in her office and I think I got it in 3 weeks. You will be surprised by the results and you will most likely feel it immediately, of course depending on your need. Thank God, I sleep better, I no longer feel like I'm chocking in my sleep, I don't wake up restless with a headache or a dry mouth or moody and my snoring has decreased incredibly. And please take her advice when she says not to brush your appliance with toothpaste as it can cause discoloration and also use your blue mouthpiece in the morning as directed so your bite can go back into place. I like the unique holistic approach to sleep medicine used. Dr. Lyons is caring, professional, and reasuring. Previous physicians prescribed Cpap and BiPap which I could not tolerate. Now I simply place custom crafted teeth overlays and dream the night away.
