“One of the quietest campsites I have ever stayed in. Very peaceful. All sites have at least a water view and the sunrise is amazing. Camp host is sweet and helpful. Plenty of facilities close by making them easily accessible to all sites. Bring your own soap to the bathroom to wash your hands though. Potable water available on lower loop. If you didn't reserve ahead make sure you bring cash! Ranger will ticket you if you are gone to ATM when they come through. ($80 fine for not paying)”

“This is a nice little preserve with a short loop. Unlike other similar preserves, game management is done on specified days when the park is clearly marked off limits to other activities. This is a dog friendly park with little to do besides walk and look at nature (no playground, not many signs).”

“This is an especially nice walk (1.2miles) when the red maple trees are at their most colorful state. At the half way point the trail crosses a stream where a bench has been placed. There is also a connection trail that leads to the Mt Rose Trail system on the Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Reserve. While no deer hunting occurs on Sundays, check sign on posted hunting dates... The trail will be closed then.”

“Great in town park with hiking options, too. Cafe nearby. More for locals, but if you're looking for a nice change, it's a few miles from rte 31, so not too out of the way”

“Wonderful sunny place to walk. Saw a Northern Harrier too. Great place for young kids and dogs too!!”
