  My wife’s father passed away and I could not go with her to the funeral for personal reasons. Needless to say I was very worried even though she had people to support her. Turns out Mary and Chris were also supportive, caring, hands on and made this a comfortable blessing for her. I have also spoken with Mary on several occasions and found her to be knowledgeable and above and beyond helpful. Even though we live in South Carolina knowing how much they helped her gave us both peace and comfort.

  Chris and Mary, took charge of my husband's services, They went above and beyond to make sure all of my wishes were done.
  I can not Thank them enough for what they did for me. 5 stars are not enough.

  To Chris Merlino and the staff of Buklad-Merlino Funeral Home, a very special thank you. Your kindness, compassion, understanding, and professionalism helped make a very difficult day more bearable. You and your staff helped our family through the entire process of making necessary arrangements. You answered all of our concerns and made possible all of our wishes.   The care and compassion the staff have taken in my family members passing has been outstanding. Chris and Mary have been so generous with helping me take care of everything with me being out of state.

  We have lost 2 family members in 42 days. You can't begin to imagine the pain in sorrow in our hearts. As soon as we called Chris from Bukland Merlino to pick up our loved ones from the hospital, he told us that he would take care of getting them right away. It gave us great comfort knowing this. Making all of the arrangements were so stress free. Chris and his team made our family look like themselves down to how they normally wear their hair. The entire staff is so kind! They thought of everything! We couldn't have been in better hands!
