“I am very happy that I have chosen Capital Title Agency as the title agent for the purchase of my condominium. Debra at Capital Title Agency gave me the best quote out of 2 others despite the common belief that all title agents across the state charge the same. Insurance premium is the same but there are so many other services & fees that go into determining the final closing cost & Debra was able to beat 2 other companies by up to $200. The service was also excellent. All communications were done smoothly through e-mail & I received copies of Insurance policy well before Closing. (In my other experience buying a property Commitment Policy was only given to me as a paper copy during Closing). Title search documents were e-mailed to me timely & my request for copies of all earlier deeds for the property was accommodated as well. Closing went smoothly despite the fact that I was representing myself without an attorney & had to counter a somewhat aggressive behavior of the seller's attorney, who made many gross mistakes on the new deed (probably due to his negligence) which I found & had him corrected. Debra held closing with both of us in different rooms to avoid any argumentation & I was very happy she did that as I was honestly afraid of that attorney. That was a very smart move on her part. I highly recommend her to anyone who is capable of buying a property without formal legal help.”
