I will give 5-stars to Roosevelt Care Respite Center located in Edison NJ. My mother-in-law stayed there for 10-days as a short-term respite while we were away on vacation. The facility is clean and neat and the food is delicious. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The doctors and nurses provided all the care necessary. There were many activities for that age to keep them engaged during the day. Erika, the admissions director provided special comfort through facetime calls and kept us updated while we were away. Erika made sure that the menu was received in advance and my MIL is getting vegetarian warm food. It was great help and comfort. My MIL enjoyed her stay over there. She was very happy to bring home the cutely painted tote bags as part of her stay. I will surely use their services again in the future and will recommend Roosevelt Care Center to anyone. Thank you so much for all of these services!
I've been here now for 10 years and the staff has been great, their nice and friendly they will help you with any problem as do some of the residents, who are also nice. Roosevelt is a clean and safe place .When I first came here I didn't like it I stayed in my room until two residents helped and showed me all the things we can do. There are sing alongs, bingo, crafts and a whole lot more good fun. It is a nice place .
My Mom, age 102, has been a resident for ten years and we think the facility is top notch. The staff is caring, informed and professional in their care of residents. I've visited other facilities and RCC Edison ranks high by way of comparison. Zusette Dato, South Amboy
I am pleased to share with the community my more than positive experiences with Roosevelt Care Center (Edison) this past spring on behalf of a dear elderly gentleman for whom I am primary caretaker....Following a two week hospitalization, my friend was encouraged to go to inpatient rehabilitation in order to become stronger in his transfer skills at home. Roosevelt was like an extended family for both the patient and me as caretaker. From admissions to nursing care (Including a fabulous head nurse) to therapists to discharge planner/social worker - all staff performed with a high degree of care and compassion for their patient(s). I was more than relieved and confident about my friend's well-being and am happy to report he was discharged successful back to his home several weeks ago. Roosevelt, like many in-patient providers, have suffered with a loss of staff. But I was amazed and pleased that all, including officer staff, chipped in to make sure coverage and care was never sacrificed. This is the second time we used Roosevelt for rehabilitation, and it will continue as the place of first choice for the future - if need be.
