“Unfortunately, others who have written negatively about Steve don't know the old adage, "If you have nothing nice to say about someone, say nothing at all." I have plenty of good things to say about this man. First,he is one of the most honest mechanics I have met. He tells you his honest assessment of your vehicle's condition, and he's been right every time so far (my finance and I have been customers over three years). Second - his prices are fair. For a number of years, I was working with a dealership, as I have a Lexus. When I went to Steve, my costs dropped 10-fold. And they have remained so, with only an increase in the quality of service. Steve is a "24-7" guy; he will always let you know when he is available, and he keeps his word. Third, he is one of the most interesting guys I have ever met. He grew up in the New York/New Jersey area, and knows a great deal about the history of the region, about the environment, and many other things. Finally, can he come across a little gruff? Yes -- however, he is, in my impression, a big ol' bear - gruffness much more intimidating than his true nature. If you treat him with kindness, like every good human being, he will return the favor.”

“One of the best places I have ever been to. Now I shop only there, or go there first. The prepared foods are extensive, creative, and quite delicious. Prepared seafoods, sandwiches, pastas and vegetables are my faves. The salad bar and Chinese food buffet are quite as good too. I stock up on seafood and veggies from the salad bar too. I have found the staff genuinely friendly and actually comforting. Likes to find something you need in alternative places in the store, if necessary. Be sure to check the Manager's Specials in the refrigerated compartments behind Registers #1 and #2 -- great discounts on the prepared foods and sandwiches, I mentioned above, as well freshly made breads and bakery items. The discounts are 30%, 50% or 70% off ! But they are items whose expiration dates are about to come due -- so remember to eat these foods very, very soon. (I know -- sometimes forgetting this, I've had the regrets of having to throw some out.) Enjoy.”

“Had a great time throwing my 1yr old birthday party from 4-9pm. Excellent, down to earth staff. Plenty of parking space behind the fire station. They have their own kitchen and bar (BYOB liquor) and they provide bar tender as well. They have tables and chairs you can setup yourself or they can setup for a additional cost. Would definitely recommend for a small party or get together. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Cheers!”
