I want to express my appreciation for the exceptional service Maliszewski Funeral Services provided for my mother who passed away on March 23, 2023. Since I was in San Diego, I had to make the funeral arrangements long distance. Paul walked me through everything and was there for the whole process from obtaining my mom from the hospital, arranging the wake at the Maliszewski Funeral Home in South River, the cremation, mass, and cemetery burial. All went well and Paul was very accommodating and respectful. The personnel did a great job tailoring a video photo display of my mom, set to music. An extra touch was provided with finding a cardinal picture for the memorial card and a video for the video display. The cardinal was my mom’s favorite bird. Finally, once the services were over and I was back in San Diego, the Maliszewski team reached out to me to see how I was doing. This was most appreciated as the emotional side of someone passing can take a toll. I would highly recommend using Maliszewski Funeral Services for the last journey of your loved ones.

It’s was a geat experience working with the Maliszewski funeral home in South River. They were very supportive and and caring throughout the process. Even weeks later after the services, they reached out to my family to see how we are holding up. That’s unheard of these days. I highly recommend their services when you suffered a loss.

I can honestly say they really helped me plan my cousins funeral. Since it was my first time having to plan a funeral. They were so patient and professional. The Maliszewski funeral home gave me the best experience for such a sad time in my life. They took care of everything from beginning to end, answered all my questions, took their time with me and treated me as if I was part of their family. Everyone was so kind and caring and they did an excellent job with my mother. On this day a year later of my mom‘s passing they still reached out to see how I am doing. I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

After the loss of one of my brothers, the staff at Maliszewski Funeral Home was very compassionate, courteous, understanding and professional with the abundance of knowledge in the industry as well as having the ability to assist in making hard decisions during our time of need. We didn’t feel pressured into upgrades services, but the information was given so we were aware of options if selected. Carmen, as well as the rest of the staff, was there for every step of the way. To offer a shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold and even make last minute requests a reality to ensure the services were pleasant and acceptable to us even with last minute changes. No one can take the pain away but the Maliszewski and Spezzi staff did make it a little easier to bear and help with the healing.
