My daughter stressed to the family that though it’s in an odd place it’s the best soul food!!! She frequents often, She was absolutely correct…. She had brought me plenty dishes before and I was hooked. Mac /sticky wings and string beans…. I was hooked every time she went ..until I could no longer convince her to get it for me! So getting my own I switched up and got yams instead of string beans! Yams melted In Your mouth! The taste of everything is always the same GREAT and plentiful! The Owner, his son and daughter were personable, have plenty of conversation for you and take pride in servicing the area! They also get to know their regulars!! Here’s wishing them a large amount of customers with the new buildings and upgraded neighborhood. PEACE

Barry and Aaron are two of the most down to earth, kind and respected individuals out there! The best soul food around with a hospitality like no other! They treat you like family the moment you walk into their business. They take care of the local first responders and always serve nothing but amazing quality soul food. Also, hands down one of, if not the best homemade banana puddings!

Some of the best soul food I had outside of my momma’s Sundays best. Everything was fresh, seasoned and taste great for a good price. Exceptional customer service and friendly environment. Everything I’ve tried did not disappoint. Definitely recommend this place at least once a week, if you haven’t tried it then do so ASAP!

This Restaurant delivers on its name and service. My soul was definitely fed and their service and professionalism was exceptional! They have a valued customer in me. I appreciate how comfortable and convenient they made me feel. It was genuine and real. If you know and like soul food this is the place to visit. I never had catfish until I ate there. Delicious! Came from Brooklyn for some soul food… this is it. Cheap, big portions, great service and most importantly amazing food. The best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Will definitely come back!!!
