“I went yesterday to attempt to make a blood donation but unfortunately was unable to. My transportation was very late, at least an hour, and a woman named Pat, I don't know if she volunteers or works at the church or was part of the American Red Cross blood drive, she said that she and her husband would take me home, as it was on the way for them. She informed me that they were closing in half an hour, to give me a heads up. They also got pizza for the staff and offered me some. Like another person who posted -open, welcoming and supportive community.”

“We just moved down to Franklin Park from Massachusetts. Leaving my work and church families behind were the hardest part of saying goodbye to our home of 44 years. After doing some research online it seemed Jacobs Well would be a good fit, but difficult to gauge since I couldn’t physically connect with anyone or get the vibe of the community. I happened upon a Zoom connect night a couple of weeks ago, and immediately felt at home. I feel welcomed and look forward to meeting people in person when we can get together again. Pastor Scott’s love and awe of our Savior are more than evident in his messages, which of course is the priority in finding a church home. Also the diversity of the congregation and the care and concern of leadership for the congregation’s needs seal the deal for me. Love this church.”
