We spent the evening here with old friends and it could not have been more perfect. The food was gorgeous and delicious - one of the best meals of my life. The place was hip and beautiful and glamorous, but also warm. The staff was super friendly and passionate - they know every detail about the menu. We each ordered different things for our 3 courses so we could taste everything. There were moments when I had to close my eyes - it was so good, I needed to focus (ricotta gnocchi...). The banana and chocolate concoction is insane. They're rather famous for their cocktails, so we stuck with those for the night - the 50/50 manhattan was amazing - and they had a great new version of an old fashion. It was all very special and fun - a magical night.
What a great transformation from the old tides hotel. We’ve lived next door for 10 years so saw the whole renovation. while Tides had its own charm, you can’t deny the upgrade in everything. We decided to go for some drinks on a weekend and got some delicious cocktails. The inside looked clean and bright with the huge windows installed and overall a cozy, welcoming environment. Poolside also was is a huge upgrade and I’m glad to see they are using the back grass area for additional seating. The staff was amazing and friendly. Looking forward to many afternoons at The St. Laurent and can’t wait to try the food menu next time!
My recent stay at The St. Laurent truly felt like a luxury resort vacation. After spending the day poolside sipping delicious draft cocktails, we had dinner reservations at Heirloom. Every course was familiar in the best way while being prepared in a style that was completely different than anything I’ve had before — it was approachable fine dining that I’d highly recommend. We followed dinner with drinks in the lounge, stayed overnight in the hotel (the bed is super comfortable, easy to convert, and the shower has awesome water pressure), then spent some time taking in the breeze on the front porch in the morning. Every detail of the experience felt intentional, and the vibe was welcoming and relaxing.
My husband and I stayed here a couple of weeks ago and let me just say, the new owners put thought and immense detail into every single part of your experience.
If you stayed at this hotel in the past when it was previously The Tides you knew that it was in major need of a facelift. Now that that’s happened my goodness everything is stunning from the minute you walk onto the property.
The self check in was a breeze. And the room was furnished beautifully with technology at the very forefront for its guests too. Also need to mention the incredibly comfortable beds. I never have a good night sleep when I’m not sleeping in my own bed but did not have that issue staying here. The room and bathroom was also sparkling clean. My husband and I joked the only thing the room was missing was a mini fridge for our delicious leftovers.
The cost was also extremely fair for in season rates too compared to the other hotels in town.
To the new owners: absolutely amazing job! We are so excited to come back next year for our annual visit to our favorite Jersey shore town.
My husband and I wanted a kid free beach day away and we booked this place for a two night stay last weekend. Loved the renovated boutique hotel. The decor was great. Our standard king felt a little small but the shower was amazing and the room was clean and comfortable. Love that they have beach passes for you to use during your stay. The pool is like a hidden oasis in this little beach town. It’s a saltwater pool and the bar service is excellent. We didn’t love the food options for the lunch service but enjoyed the pool side beds and our day there! Everyone is super friendly. The on-site Heirloom restaurant is amazing if you get a chance to eat there! I think they reserve a few time slots for on-site hotel guests!
Took off one star for there not being a ‘front desk’ area to request additional water or to get service for the coffee which was out in the foyer entrance area. Would be nice to have some milk or creamer there and light breakfast options. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and will be back!
