Went on a Wednesday night, didn’t make a reservation and were lucky to get a table. It was old school type of environment and very cozy. The people who work there are very friendly. We got veal parm and shrimp linguine, and we enjoyed it!
There’s valet parking.
The food is well prepared and the wait staff very very attentive. I had the branzino fish special of the day and it was fantastic with a large salad for the two of us to split. If you're in the neighborhood don't miss this place. I'm sure it's a long time favorite among the locals. Get there early and you definitely need a reservation. They even Reserve places at the bar.
This is the place in Asbury where the locals go for great, authentic Italian food. Was bustling on a Sunday night. Service was friendly, warm and prompt. I had the veal Parmigiana. Sauce tasted like home, veal was lean and cooked perfectly. Family style house salad was fantastic with the house Anchovy and Garlic dressing. A coffee and a Cannoli completed dinner on a perfect note.
It's an old fashioned all inside dark dining place. Our server was great and the portions are huge. I liked the fish almondine. The older car parker was very charming.
One of the best spots around and the fact they've been in business FOREVER should say it all. The veal chop is one of the best in all of jersey and the fish is fresh and delicious....and they're open Monday which is a plus in this area
