(August 2, 2022, 5:19 pm)I had a Type I diabetic emergency where my insulin pod (pump) stopped working, and I was 2 hrs away from home. Needed Novolog insulin fast and syringes as my blood sugar was 338 and rising. My hometown pharmacist called Shoprite and they filled my script without a hassle. Beforehand, I was at Walgreens and they not only hassled me but after all that, Walgreens told me they didn't have my insulin. Thank you, Shoprite. After helping me, I didn't need a hospital.
