The Inn At The Shore

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at The Inn At The Shore. The room was perfect- clean and spacious with a queen bed and bathroom. Linda and Bill were super accomdating and will treat you like part of their family. Breakfast in the morning was delicious with an open menu and a spread of juices, fruit, and yogurts. Bill will make you anything you can think of and will knock it out of the park (Eggs Benedict highly recommended) My wife and I spent most of our time on the Porch but if inside is more of your thing the Great Room has everything you could need- pool table, TV, music area, and games. A guest fridge, microwave, and water cooler are available which we were grateful for on a hot summer day. Bill and Linda's attention to detail and vast experience in the hospitality business really shine through here. We can't wait to come back!

This was my first Bed & Breakfast experience and I'm not sure another will live up to this place. Bill and Linda set a high bar.

Before arriving, I called Linda to make sure I'd be able to come by early even if the room wasn't ready and she was more than happy to accommodate. She was able to give us our beach badges and sent us a text when the room was ready. We simply walked to and from the beach in a matter of 5 minutes.

The room was clean and comfortable, especially with the heat wave we were experiencing. The next morning, I was surprised to learn that we were able to order whatever we were looking to eat for breakfast and Bill was able to make it.

Both Bill and Linda are friendly and easy to talk to and just made the stay that much better. We will 100% be back in the future.

7-14-23 / 7-16-23 Caretakers Linda and Bill are such a delight to be with. Room #3 was pretty, cozy, and clean with private room bathroom. Wonderful weekend stay at our 1st BNB. Breakfast was amazing, made to your liking in addition to a contential spread of bread, fruit, jams, yogurt. You can have breakfast outside on the porch or inside in the dining room. You have access to guest kitchen that has a refrigerator where you can place items during your stay. Pool table, t.v. and games in main room. You can hang out on the porch whenever you want. Beach pass was available during our stay. Beach chair and towels are available for use. We'll definitely be back and worth the trip from north jersey.

Perfect Mid-week Getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn at the Shore during the last week in June. Our hosts Linda and Bill treated us like their personal guests rather than customers. We stayed in the Irish Rose room. We arrived early and were able to check in and access the room right away. No detail was overlooked - we even had fresh cut flowers in the room!

Despite the fact that it’s located only 2 blocks from the beach, the area is very quiet. We enjoyed an incredible breakfast on the lovely wrap around porch before heading out to the beach. The breakfast was off the charts - the quantity, the presentation and the taste was awesome.

In all the years we’ve been coming to the shore we had never heard of this hidden gem, but can assure you we’ll be back.

My sister and I loved our stay here! The proximity to the beach and town were great, and Linda and Bill made us feel so comfortable and taken care of. We'll be recommending to anyone looking to go to Belmar! Thank you for a lovely stay!
