“We recently selected 1st Choice to replace an old furnace and a/c unit in our home and couldn’t be more pleased with their work. Chris Riley (principal owner) was one of the most knowledgeable and forthright heating and A/C professionals we’ve dealt with. He conducted a thorough analysis of our home, room by room, and recommended three potential systems that were appropriate for the job. He then described the features and attributes of each system, making sure every question was answered thoroughly. There was absolutely no pressure during the sales process as he wants you to be comfortable with whatever decision you make. The technicians who installed the system we selected were superb. They treated our home as if it was their own, making sure all floors and stairs were covered. They even wore protective covers on their shoes to ensure nothing from the outside was tracked into the house. At the end of the day all debris was removed and all work areas cleaned. They explained every task needed to be done to completely install the system and conducted a comprehensive review when done. Chris followed up a few days later with his own on-site review to ensure everything was calibrated and set properly and to again make sure we were satisfied with their work. We most certainly were. 1st Choice is an excellent company to do business with, focused on attaining the highest level of customer satisfaction and building long-term relationships between themselves and their customers. “I feel extremely fortunate for spotting an East Coast Sheet Metal truck while driving on Rt 35. into Point Pleasant on an extremely hot day in August. I knew my old air conditioning was going to have a hard time keeping up with the heat and humidity on a sweltering day like it was, so I took a picture of the name and phone number. As it turns out the next day was even hotter and I had to call someone to take a look at my AC, so I called East Coast and two other local heating and air conditioning companies. One reply was they couldn't get there until the next day, another was that they will have someone contact me late in the afternoon. When I called East Coast, I spoke to Cindy and told her my concerns and she said she'd have Ed get back to me as soon as possible. Cindy called back immediately and let me know Ed (the boss) would be at my house within the hour.I was really surprised since I must have been on of their busiest days of the summer. Ed came by and quickly let me know what I already new. The 28 year old unit was on its last leg. On the following days I got multiple quotes for a new unit and East Coast not only gave me a very fair price, they gave me the confidence that they were the best choice. I called A-Academy and had them come out ASAP before the squirrels got busy creating their next generation of offspring.
