Great Lawn Beach

Wonderful venue for this year's LLS Light the Night event

Weather forecasters predicted a great beach day for today and they were right. Beach was crowded but there was still plenty of space for your beach chair or umbrella. Dolphins were swimming offshore and the people on the beach got very excited over the sitings.

Love the clean beach. Also have places to eat after beach time. The boardwalk is great.

The beach has rather large sand and pebbles.
Usually is very crowded.
I love more cozy and less crowded places.
Who likes the loud company - I recommend

Its a great spot. There is often live music that you can hear from the beach and the beach is wide enough to spread out a bit or play games. There are bathrooms and places to get food as well. You can buy your beach passes with cash at the booth or you can use your card at the kiosks that you also use to pay for parking. They don't let alcohol on the beach or any type of glass and they will check coolers.
