Dr. Lisa Silbret and Dr. Alan Schechter

I just had my 1st visit at Dr.Schecter's office. I saw some negative reviews so I had to post my experience. I am a Dentist that recently sold both of my practices, so I am familiar with how a Healthcare practice should be run. I called for an appointment and the girls were very nice and they got me an appointment within 2 or 3 weeks, and it took that long only because I was limited to 1 day of the week and in the morning. I had expected them to tell me it would be 3 months before they could see me. The girls at the front desk were very nice and friendly. Dr. Schecter's medical assistant was also friendly and kind. Dr. Schecter was very professional and nice. He took his time with my visit, he explained everything clearly and thouroughly and he was right on point. He did not rush and the visit only ended when I had nothing further to ask him. I would definitely recommend Dr. Schecter for any Dermatological concerns. He is very knowledgeable and I was pleased and impressed.

Best dermatologist I’ve ever been to! The office staff was very courteous and got me in right away! Dr. was such a nice normal down to earth guy that knows his stuff. What a pleasure not having to wait 2 hrs to be seen and Sr. and staff were so nice and accommodating!

We have been going to Dr. Schechter for about 15 years along with our 4 grown children. He is always very professional and takes his time with exams and explains everything to us. The office staff is absolutely wonderful! He is the best there is!

I am a long standing patient of Dr. Silbret and Dr. Schecter. Both doctors are extremely knowledgeable and attentive. All the staff are accommodating and pleasant. In particular, Phyllis goes above and beyond, whether it be making appointments to work with my busy schedule, dealing with insurance company for me and most of all, she has a genuinely warm personality. Have recommended to many friends, all have been very happy.

If you want someone who is to the point and quick with words, Dr. Alan Schechter is your man! Although the wait time was 30 mins. more than my scheduled appointment time, I felt like all my questions were answered. He is knowledgeable and smart. The office is sterile and clean. The staff were abrupt and hasty but made sure they got the necessary questions to ask me answered. I personally liked my first visit because time is important to me so I was in and out of there pretty swiftly.
