I don't normally leave reviews.
But Dr. Ezon is an amazingly caring empathetic person. One of the best Dr's (there have been a lot!) I've EVER dealt with.
His team is FANTASTIC!!! Even his "mommy".
This is my story... Read till the end and you will never go anywhere else.
I first met Dr. Ezon in the emergency room at the Jersey Shore ER.
I had fallen and hit my head, unfortunately, I was knocked out cold. When I came to, I couldn't see. I was legally blind. They(hospital) called Dr. Ezon to come and check my eyes.
I didn't know that this was his specialty. Retina's
I was freaked out! This doctor comes in talks to me. There was an immediate feeling of ease. He had me laughing. He cared and it showed. I could hear it in the tone of his voice.
Since then we have discovered that I have severe diabetic retinopathy.
There is no cure. I am going blind.
That was over 6 years ago.
I have had a retinal repair and multiple laser surgeries over the years. Shots in my eye's, at first every other week, now every 3 months.
When this first started he gave me one year and I would be completely blind.
Then he worked and worked with me. Finding and looking for anything that might work.
5 years later I can still see. I can drive, legally. LOL
I live in another state and fly to New Jersey to keep Dr. Ezon as my Dr.
Trust me, you will NEVER find a better team than this one at the
Jersey Shore Retina.

I had the BEST experience with Dr E. He spent quality time with me. He and his technician were through. I was experiencing eye pain and I couldn’t see well out of my left eye. The optometrist I was seeing kept giving me eye drop medicine but it kept returning. My visit with Dr. E was intense but so worth every test he gave me. He was kind and he knew I was dealing with something big. He ruled out lots of things and determined I had Multiple Sclerosis. It was not the news I wanted at the time but he saved me. I was able to get the right treatment for my eye and my new found disease.
I am grateful for the time and care he gave me. Who knows where I’d be without him and his wonderful staff. Everyone was helpful and compassionate every step through my journey. Words just can’t describe my gratitude. By far the BEST retina doctor and staff around.

I went to this office for the first time with a eye problem not knowing what was wrong. Everyone was wonderful from the front desk to my eye dr. I definitely recommend them. They made me feels so safe and in good hands. The ladies at the front desk are beautiful and so caring.
