So peaceful, clean, views are 360. Bike trails, paddle boards and even secret little romantic hideaways. You won't be disappointed

Cool and beautiful. After a busy and noise full week in New York City while catching cabs, buses and trains, coming to sandy beach to unwind and reconnect with mother nature in its quiet, cool and beautiful display of God's love and gift to mankind. I wouldn't miss it for a billion dollars! Both blacks and whites, bi and multiracial???? adults and children, not excluding the aged! Families, friends and couples were seen on all shores, the highlights for me was when the water wave come up to where people were sitting or lying on, the shouts and run and laughter that accompanied each run did the magic for me. I can't wait to get back to sandy beach. The only place to be after a stressful week or day ????????✌

Nice area with very basic amenities. Beach area has some non-swimmable areas with submerged rocks, but the swimming area is clearly marked. A bit of a hike from the parking lot to the swimming area at Area C, specifically, but that was only an issue because we had a member of the family on crutches. The water seemed a little clearer about 10 miles south in the resort/hotel area. Nice view of Manhattan off in the distance, though, and lots of open space for kids to play in the sand. Less expensive than the public beaches at North Long Branch.
