4 stars because the Doctors are very good..not 5 because you are pretty much stuck there for at least 2 hours for a 15 minute visit with doctor
They saved my life three times in the last 6 years.
In 2008 Dr. Abud saved my life when he noticed an something suspicious during a routine stress test. It resulted in a QUAD Bypass!
In 2010 Dr. Demchuck saved my life this time when I felt chest pain and a cardiac catheter revealed that two of the 4 grafts from the 2008 bypass had failed. She spent 3 hours (for usually a 30 minute procedure) putting in 3 stents to successfully reopen the legacy artery (which had been bypassed even though it had only been @70% clogged) .
In April 2014 another routine stress test revealed a problem, the cardiac cath then showed that scarring from the stents where blocking the artery. She spent nearly three hours again. She cleared the scarring blockage then put in a balloon and then a new kind of stent within one of the old stents to keep it open.
So I have literally have a special place in my heart for the Doctors at the American Heart Center.
