I hired West Grove Appliance Repair to do the appliance repair and they sent a technician on the same day I called to do the fix. The issue turned to be caused by a worn out door seal, which was replaced.

I really thought my washing machine was beyond repair, but the repairman took a very close look at it and found a way to fix it.
