When my dad passed away in December it was such a sad time for our family. It was also a bit hectic because there was a lot of work to do in preparation for my dad’s final farewell. My brother and I went over to John Day Funeral home and met with Ginny. She was the most professional, warm, caring and sweet person and I as exactly what I needed. She comforted us and my mom and explained everything in detail for us. She and the other staff made this experience as wonderful and comforting as possible. I would recommend them 100%

Over the last 15 months we sadly lost our Mom (94) and Dad (92). For both John E. Day and their staff were there for me and my siblings as we navigated funeral arrangements for them. Sheri and the team were very compassionate and carefully walked us through everything and took care of all the details so we could focus on celebrating our parents lives and being with family during this trying time. Would highly recommend them to anyone who has lost a loved one. Thank you for being there for us!

Sheri Sidun and her staff were very friendly, professional, respectful, compassionate and well organized. Due to the experience we had, our grief over the loss of our Father was easier to handle.
The facility is clean, nicely decorated, comforting and very accommodating with easy access to parking. Their website is easy to navigate and they did a wonderful job putting our photos to music on the tribute wall.

John E Day provided the utmost support when making burial arrangements; in addition they were genuinely consoling when my aunt passed away. Even though my aunt was on Medicaid the quality of care we received was top notch.. the staff was kind and courteous throughout the whole process .. they also allowed us to post my aunt’s testimonial on their website at no charge.
