Great hiking trails in the beautiful North Jersey area, beautiful varied terrain, some of the more popular trails can be crowded and best avoided on the weekends. If you live in the area it is a super convenient place to quickly get away and into nature. Have some interesting nature trails for the little tykes too.
Steep climbing .lots of space.can walk for hours.not far from roads.not good for little kids if you have to carry. Lots of Rock in paths .well marked.
Such an amazing place. Hiking was pretty easy. I hiked Turkey Mountain. Loved finding the ruins.
There are many different trails in this mountain. Follow the same color marks on the trees and enjoy your trip. The big round trail could reach 6miles. you might meet the animals such as squirrels, geckos, deer etc. Remember to bring mosquito repellent.
Beautiful trails. Not too difficult. Some scenic views. Tripod rock is a must see. We love to hike here! We saw a black bear today by the reservoir.
