The Shop Pizza Pasta & Panino

Pizza is great, well priced. Working next door also helps with convenience. I would love to see a specialty pie rotated in maybe once a week or month in addition to their already great staples to add some more variety. They do great pesto sauce which would be an amazing addition to drizzle on their pizzas or perhaps a bruschetta pesto pie as a pie added to the rotation.

Had lunch at The Shop with some friends and the food was off the charts! Aside from having the best pizza in the area, they also have great restaurants-style entrees. Pistachio-encrusted salmon was one of the best I’ve ever had.

Fab food. Pizza crust was spot on. Crispy edges with a chew in the center. And not overdressed. Enjoyed this pizza as much as some of the other ones I’ve had in Brooklyn. Pesto was slightly under salted but flavour was amazing and the fact you could see the pine nuts meant that this is the real thing. Will definitely eat here again.

Newly opened and recommended by a friend and colleague who lives in town. They raved about their takeout. We ordered pizza (Sunday Gravy) and pasta (Genoa Pesto) to go.

At home they both looked very good prior to reheating and both reheated very nicely. Nice! The pizza had flavorful meat topping and cheese. Loved the crust a little too much in the sense that you try not to eat the crust-ends so that you can have another slice, but you windup eating the crust-ends anyway and have to put off the extra slice for the next day to avoid over eating more of this delious pie. My wife puts this pizza in the top 10% of the places she's had. The pasta and pesto was flavorful and balanced without being oily and overly seasoned. We want to go back for more takeout to try some of their other dishes. Though we did not eat there, I did note they had three distinct dining areas (High tops, small tables and what appeared to be another area for slightly larger parties).

On a personal note: though the state has temporarily rescinded mask-wearing, the food preparers and wait staff were maksless. For anyone who cares about this sort of thing.
