“PHD Mechanical was outstanding! I've had plumbers here before, and can see the difference in professionalism immediately. The PHD team, Jake and Steve, arrived to our old 1849 house, on-time, and they were highly efficient in fixing my 2 faucets. They left no mess behind--they were very clean and considerate from the outset, with shoe coverings, etc. Most importantly though, they were smart--I don't like to hover, so they fixed the problems, and then afterwards, explained to me (a non-plumber) very clearly what they had fixed, so I understood thoroughly. That is the mark of a genius: you explain complicated subjects clearly to clueless people and they get it. I really appreciate learning about how house things work, especially as a new home owner. “It's really too bad there's no longer many stores like this. Well the big box stores are okay for certain things and they have more inventory it's always nice to come to a store where you know somebody and can give you more personalized service. I haven't been to the store since the change of ownership years ago but I would say they do a nice job and I wouldn't hesitate to go there.”
