great place. John has very fair prices.
I've used John and his shop for smaller jobs. Always had a great experience. This time I had a lot of work done. I lost my brakes coming home from Long Island and brought the truck to John. He let me know my brake lines were rusted through. He recommend buying the kit from the dealer and replacing all the lines at once to avoid future breakdowns. I couldn't agree more, since I am a stickler for having my vehicle's remain reliable. He replaced all the lines for me. While under my Yukon XL, he noticed my water pump was leaking and let me know. I had them fix the water pump as well, saving me from overheating and possibly doing more damage. I also had new shocks installed as mine were older. My truck has never run better. It runs like a new vehicle. The inside of my vehicle looks like no one ever worked on it. No filth on the inside at all whatsoever. And that is important to me. You cannot tell somebody just worked on your vehicle. There are no grease prints anywhere. They were completely professionall and my truck never ran better after coming out of a shop before. They go the extra mile and it clearly shows. They even took my Truck to the car wash, just so that they could see underneath it and make sure nothing was leaking. Can't ask for more. Finally found a permanent repair facility I can build a relationship with. There fees are fair and reasonable as well.
Spot on! Showing up un announced and they not only made me feel welcomed they took the time for me. I was pleased it's a family business. Very pleasant and courteous. Can't say enough good things.
John and his team at Arsenal always go above and beyond! Always making sure my son is beyond safe and ready to go for his drive to his Marine Base. This last visit included working until 11:30pm to double and triple check every detail and sound. My son has an older "dream" car and John never lets him leave until he is sure he can make the 4 hour round trip seamlessly! As a parent, it means even more knowing there are Honest and Caring business owners out there! Thank you John!
There's something to be said about finding a good, honest mechanic. That's Arsenal Automotive in a nutshell. I typically wrench on my own cars, but once in a while the job is beyond me. That's when I go see John at Arsenal. Always polite, always fair, and knowledgeable.
