  When you're a woman people in the car industry often treat you like you have no idea what you are talking about, and tell you so - in a rude and condescending manner.
  
  I had that exact experience with three mechanics in the area - all with high ratings on Google - before I called My Family Automotive.
  
  Not only did they know exactly what I was talking about immediately, but they went above and beyond to help me with my car quickly and efficiently. Since it was such a quick and minor fix, they waved me off when I tried to pay. They really proved their trustworthiness.
  
  The woman at the front desk was warm and personable and was able to commiserate with me about my experiences with other mechanics while I waited.
  
  This shop lived up to their name and really made me feel like family. I will be using them for anything my car needs in the future.

  I only had a single experience here, but it's worth sharing.
  I was driving from Albany NY to Cape May and had what seemed like serious car trouble. I was able to get my truck to this shop and I'm very fortunate I found them. I had my family with me and I was in a difficult position. I needed assistance immediately and had no knowledge of local shops.
  Charlie took an immediate interest in my problem, inspected the vehicle, checked the codes, and had one of his mechanics test drive it. Meanwhile he gave my two young children bubbles to keep them entertained.
  The problem was a mysterious one, but they were able to rule out the most serious potential problems and allow us to continue on our way.
  Charlie wouldn't take a dime.

  Charlie and his crew we're great; treated me like I've been going to them for years. Gave great advice on my car, got my work done fast, and didn't try to sell me anything. The lady at the front desk even drove me home while my car got worked on. Finally found a great and honest shop.
