“Stopped in this morning with the kids to grab coffee and donuts on our way to their grandmother's house. The line for the Drive Thru was a mile long. Inside, the line for the counter was only one person long. The kids picked out the donuts, I ordered some coffees, and we were out of there before the car that pulled in front of me even got up to the speaker to order. As far as their products go, it was standard Dunkin' Donuts - The coffee was hot and coffee flavored, and the donuts were round with a hole in the middle. I took off one star because the cups had Giants logos on them and I'm petty like that.”

“Mark is a phenomenal vocal instructor. He is masterfully versed in all vocal styles. I have received instruction from him in Rock, Pop and Classical styles. Mark does not push any one style over another. He is very amenable to helping you with whatever you are trying to accomplish, and wants you to find "your" own unique voice, not something contrived. He has an excellent way of explaining not only how to execute proper technique, but the mechanical reasons for the technique. I have an engineering background and always evaluate things based on whether or not they have a physically sound basis. Everything Mark says makes excellent mechanical sense and WORKS. I could hardly sing a note when I started training with Mark, but very quickly was able to sing publicly with confidence shortly after starting with him. I tried many "self-teach" methods before finding Mark and nothing worked. All I did was train myself to be a hacker, picking up many bad habits that were very difficult to correct. I train regularly with Mark, because I still have a lot to learn and he corrects the bad habits that I develop during the periods of time I am not taking lessons. He picks up on things that I am not even aware that I am doing. All lessons are recorded and you get a high quality CD copy of the lesson when you leave. It is often a very humbling experience to listen to that CD afterward, but the value of being able to hear yourself and have that tool for helping you refine your technique is immeasurable. Finding Mark's studio has been a huge blessing. The best way I can put this is if you really want to learn how to sing, just go to him. You will not be disappointed!!”
