This is the most wonderful place in the world, but not open to the public. Except for silent retreats, which are open to anyone, this is for friends and family of the sisters of charity.
Excellent is the only way to describe the experience that
43 of us from the Kean University's School of Nursing had
this past week.
Sister Mary, Sister Pat and Trish, could not have been more
accommodating and hospitable.
The facility is clean, tidy and the equipment organized
and available. Each nurse had a individual room, comfortable
bed and access to the most beautiful beach.
Maris Stella was a particularly fine venue for our three-day
workshop, and we certainly will return. Dr. Virginia Fitzsimons
The retreat is grounded in a Christian and Augustinian tradition and it is open to students of all faith backgrounds as well as those who do not identify with any religious tradition.
